Irish Actors Equity request the support of the PMA members, in their quest for fair & equal pay for performers and crews on Irish productions. I know this is an issue many of you have faced directly.

Due to the absence of the PACT agreement in Ireland, actors are not currently guaranteed parity of pay or conditions with fellow professionals from elsewhere.

Irish Actor’s Equity are currently in talks with several government departments in an effort to secure a guarantee “that Irish performers will not be subject to lesser terms and conditions regarding their intellectual property rights than international performers in similar roles” which, as you know has not been the case for decades.

With this current momentum, and the full support of UK Equity and SAG, the support of the PMA members would be greatly appreciated. The ask from Irish Equity is that UK artists and agents join their Irish counterparts in signing this petition (click link below):
