We touched on this topic very briefly in yesterday’s Artists’ meeting and received the following advice from Equity today:
– Please be vigilant when agreeing special stipulations regarding Force Majeure. We have noticed that wording is creeping in that is widening the definition of Force Majeure and including things that we believe are within the producers control. Force Majeure is covered by Clause T45 in the Pact Equity Agreement and producers should not seek to undermine the Agreement.
