Agent’s Assistant

Creative Media Management is a respected boutique agency representing Heads of Department across Film and TV drama. We are looking for an experienced Agents Assistant to join our team. This is not an entry level position as you will be working independently as well as closely with two senior Agents. Ideally you will have proven experience in an Agency and/or Film and TV drama production office and an understanding of how Film and TV Agents for Heads of Department operate.

The requirements for this position are:
- You must be committed, motivated, organised and responsible.
- A forensic eye for detail with the ability to prioritise and multi-task.
- Excellent communication skills, (both written and verbal), when liaising with clients, production companies and producers.
- A good understanding of the creative and physical production process of Film and TV drama and of the clients’ work – Producers, Line Producers, Production Designers, DPs, 1st ADs, Costume Designers, Make-Up & Hair Designers, Editors, Production Sound Mixers, Script Supervisors.
- The ability to work on your own initiative and be pro-active in researching and seeking out work opportunities for the clients.
- Experience and discretion handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Experience with administrative tasks such as invoicing and diary management.
- Good working knowledge of Tagmin is preferable.
- Social Media savvy with website management experience.
- Familiar with the current PACT/BECTU agreements for Film and TV.
- Good working knowledge of the on-line contracting systems like POP, Engine, CrewStart.
- Be calm under pressure in a very fast-paced working environment and able to maintain your honed diplomatic skills at all times.
- The ability to work cohesively as part of a small team.
- A keen interest in the Film & TV industry, particularly behind the camera.

Creative Media has a hybrid working pattern which will be a mixture of in office (Ealing Broadway) and remote working.

Executive Assistant

An exciting position is available to join the Milburn Browning team at our West End offices. We are looking for a friendly, outgoing candidate with excellent organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication and a true passion for the industry. The role involves supporting a named partner in the day-to-day running of the office and their client list. Key responsibilities include:

General management of clients, including organizing meetings, self-tapes and documentation
Providing invoicing services for work completed by clients
Diary management
Updating and maintaining client CV’s and Spotlight profiles
Updating social media
Video editing for showreels and self-tapes

Internship – TFTV Department

Curtis Brown is one of the world’s leading literary and talent agencies, representing actors, presenters, authors, playwrights, film and television writers and directors and theatre directors.
Media and publishing are amongst the most popular career choices, yet often these industries can seem like a closed shop for those who don’t already have experience or contacts.
We offer bright and energetic people an opportunity to discover what agencies are all about. This internship in our TFTV Department will last for 6 months and you will work with agents and their assistants to gain hands-on experience of agenting. You should have good administrative skills and genuine enthusiasm for and interest in the industry. We’d like you to have some experience of working in an office.
The scheme is open to graduates, undergraduates and non-graduates alike. You must be a minimum of 18 years-old to undertake our internship scheme programme.
Please note this role will be fully office based.

Salary Range: London Living Wage (£23,303 per annum)

Coordinator, Talent Department

A very exciting opportunity has arisen for a Coordinator to join our Talent Department. You will work with the Head of Talent and other members of the team to deal with various operational matters to ensure the smooth running of the Talent Department. You will coordinate work relating to departmental communication, operational related activities and collaborate with Agents and Assistants on a variety of projects. You will also act as a gatekeeper for the Head of Talent, knowing when to delegate or escalate, as needed on issues which arise.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; exceptional organisational skills; a keen eye for detail and accuracy; resilience and adaptability; and an enthusiasm for film, theatre and television. Whilst this role is collaborative in its nature, there is also regular level of independent working, and so our ideal candidate will have confidence using their initiative and problem-solving autonomously.

Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably working for a talent agency or similar environment would be beneficial, ideally as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant or Coordinator.

The role
This specific role is for an assistant to provide full time administrative support to the TV arm of the On-Screen Talent department who represent TV presenters, experts, influencers and content creators. Agent’s Assistant

This is a full-time position working at the Company’s Rathmines office (Dublin, Ireland).

Normal office hours will be 10AM – 6PM Monday to Friday.

To manage the work involved, the role requires a highly competent, organised person with strong practical intelligence, exceptional attention to detail, first-rate communication skills (written and verbal), and a lively interest in both the business and creative aspects of the arts, pop culture, theatre, film and TV.

Some previous relevant experience is desirable but not necessary.

The job will suit somebody thorough, productive, keen to learn and (ideally) to progress to a career as an agent.

Skills:
Ability to work quickly and with accuracy over a high volume of email correspondence
Strong independent and collaborative working
Excellent time management and an ability to prioritise tasks appropriately
An ability to do basic video edits, file re-formatting and compression is required for handling a high volume of audition tape submissions, and in order to cut reel clips for clients
Computer literacy, including familiarity with Dropbox, Vimeo, WeTransfer, Mac, Microsoft Office, Google Drive.

Film and TV Internship Programme

We are offering an individual with a passion for Film, Television and New Media an exciting opportunity to discover what a literary agency is all about. Our internship programme gives an introduction to the world of agenting in our bustling Film & Television department alongside 14 Agents and our Creative Affairs team. At the end of your 9 month internship following an appraisal interview, there may be an opportunity to interview for a full-time Junior assistant role.

Do you love working in with creative people, have excellent communication skills and are you passionate about Film and TV? Echo is recruiting a new Agent to join the expanding Film & TV Department.

We are looking for someone who is pro-active, organised and a great communicator who can tune-in to the direction each client wants to take with their career. You will need to have the confidence to push for what you think is right when negotiating deals, have great attention to detail and love reading scripts; it is a fast-paced role with access to a plethora of developing film & TV projects at all levels.
There will also be opportunity to attend various film festivals such as Cannes, Camerimage, London Film Festival as well as access to client work and film screenings.
The right candidate will have existing experience within the film and television industry and will be looking for a new opportunity where they can build lasting relationships within a passionate and friendly team and a brilliant client base.
You could be someone who has worked in the industry at a Film Festival, or a film critic, or in another agency but in a different department. You could be an experienced Production Assistant/Production Manager looking for a new challenge and the chance to grow within a young and exciting Agency.

• Administration to action all of the above, with support from the film assistant team and other agents.

Further Details about the position:
• This is predominantly an office-based role located in the De Beauvior Block, Dalston.
• Hours are be 9:30 AM to 6 PM with 1 hour lunch break, however there will be times where hours may vary due to screening, as well as very occasional weekend work during festivals.
• Experience of Macs is preferable along with Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Salary open to negotiation
• Some international travel to film festivals may be required (Cannes, Camerimage)
• Equal team profit share based on company performance after first financial year at echo
• 5 weeks of holiday plus public holidays. The office also closes over Christmas.
