Commercial Assistant

We are seeking a confident, finance-focussed individual to work in our commercial department.

Agent Assistant

InterTalent Rights Group is looking for an additional assistant to join the team within the Actors & Creatives division. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a diverse list of actors, directors, choreographers, designers, and artists of profile within theatre, TV and film.

The position may suit someone with 1-2 years’ experience working at an agency, in casting or production, who is looking to take on more responsibility; we are also open to applicants with knowledge and passion for the industry looking for an entry-level position.

THE IDEAL APPLICANT WILL HAVE:
•Direct experience at an agency
• Proven time-management, multi-tasking and interpersonal skills
•Excellent written and verbal communication
•Strong understanding of social media as a business tool

Responsibilities:

– Discretion and confidentiality essential

– Liaising with clients

– Sharing scripts

Knowledge, skills, experience:

– Experience of working in an office environment
– Proven excellent organisation and administration skills with attention to detail and good spelling
– The ability to deal with highly sensitive and confidential issues and materials in a professional manner

– A positive attitude with plenty of energy and enthusiasm
– Ability to work autonomously and cooperatively on group tasks and proactivity when required

Agent Maternity Cover – Voices Department

United Agents LLP (UA) is one of London’s leading talent agencies encompassing the worlds of film, TV, books, theatre and comedy. We are unparalleled in the industry and have been the driving force behind the careers of many award-winning names.

We are now looking for an Agent to provide maternity cover in our thriving Voices Department from February 2023 on a 12-month maternity contract (this could be subject to some flexibility).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Liaise with clients and artists on a daily basis
-Handle availability checks and diaries for artists
-Arrange self-tapes
-Book and negotiate for all jobs.
-Acquiring a solid knowledge of the artists and their work to date, as well as forthcoming projects

THE PERSON

The ideal candidate will have experience working in talent management, working with voice-over artists. All applicants must have an interest in working in the talent management world and must be a watcher of Films, TV and theatre.

-Established contacts within a diverse range of production companies, ad agencies, publishers and animation studios.
-Experience in negotiating deal memos and long form contracts.
-Previous experience of handling profiled talent.

Department Co-Ordinator + Executive Assistant (Film & TV)

Echo is recruiting for a new assistant to join the expanding Film & TV Department, supporting the Senior Film & TV Agent with the help of a 2nd Assistant.

We are looking for an enterprising team player who is exceptionally detail oriented. Someone who is hands-on and thinks ahead, is a multi-tasker and handle a high volume of information traffic with confidence. The right candidate will be someone who has previous experience as an Agent’s Assistant or in a team management role (within the Entertainment Industry is preferable). Film & TV Agent Assistant Responsibilities:
● Managing film department email inbox; flagging, filing, and redirecting enquiries as required.
● Managing a team of assistants within the department
● Agent and client diary management
● Deal memo drafting and contract redlining (training provided)
● To Do list management; making sure Agents are aware of deadlines and helping to prioritise
● Call list management: ensuring all incoming calls are returned by the Agent
● Going back to producers and clients every day, managing expectations and responses when agent can’t respond immediately
● Setting up client/ producer meetings as required
● Generally being a ‘gatekeeper’ for the department
● Liaising with all other departments to ensure they have the latest film/client information (accounts dept, commercials dept etc)
● Updating various company communication tools (IE, Slack, Trello) with the newest information/correspondence
● Watching client work and attending occasional film screenings or festivals.

Further Details about the position:
● Flexible start, but ideally ASAP.
● This is an office-based role located in the De Beauvoir Block, Dalston.
● Hours will be 9:30 AM to 6 PM with 1 hour lunch break, however there will be times where hours may vary slightly due to film screenings and festivals.
● Experience of Macs essential along with Word, Outlook and Excel
● Experience of Slack and Trello beneficial but not essential.
● £25-35k per annum (depending on experience)
● There is an equal share of the profits of the company in line with all other members of staff
● 5 weeks of holiday plus public holidays. The office also closes over Christmas.

Agents Assistant

Hamilton Hodell is looking for an energetic and ambitious assistant to join the talent department.

You should be passionate about Film, TV and Theatre and ideally have some experience of a talent agency or office environment, although that is not a prerequisite as we’re looking for someone enthusiastic and willing to learn on the job. The ideal candidate should possess excellent organisational and communication skills.

Day to day activities will include: Responding to phone and email enquiries regarding client availability and requests. Administration of necessary day to day tasks common to the working actor; the editing and distribution of self tape auditions; reading scripts; the tracking of projects; updating and editing of clients CV and website pages; social media account proactivity and diary management for the agents.

SENIOR ASSISTANT

Accelerate are recruiting a Senior Assistant to join the team ASAP – You will need at least 12 months’ relevant experience, a ready to go knowledge of the industry and have established contacts and relationships within it. We are looking for someone who can quickly adapt and integrate into the life of a busy office.
You should have excellent admin skills with experience of using both Tagmin and Spotlight. You should already understand the need to be be a good communicator – both verbally and written and be on top of managing your time and priorities. Importantly, you will need to work well as part of a team whilst also being confident to use your own initiative in an occasionally pressured environment. Agents Assistant

Sayle Screen are looking for an assistant to join our growing company. The candidate will be an integral part of a small team helping to provide support to two agents and their clients and assist in the general running of the office. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who has a strong interest in the world of film/television/theatre/books and has strong creative instincts.

Key responsibilities include:
• Providing general administrative support to the agents: e.g diary management, updating client CVs and assisting with website news stories and social media posts
• Liaising with clients and producers, submitting material and setting up calls and meetings.
• Tracking contractual negotiations and circulating contracts for signature.
• Maintaining office systems such as keeping submission lists and internal databases up to date.
• Keeping track of all relevant client and industry news including opportunities for clients and communicating it internally.
• Reading scripts and providing concise written feedback.

We are looking for a candidate who has:
• Experience working in an office, a bonus would be previous experience of working at either an agency, as an assistant for a writer/director, or at production company or runner on a production.
• A strong interest in working with writers and directors and a good knowledge of film and television.
• Strong creative instincts and an interest in reading material.
• Excellent organisation, administrative and multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A strong desire to learn and grow within the representation business.
• Personable, confident, proactive and efficient, with a willingness to help and problem-solve under pressure.
