Agent’s Assistant

Carey Dodd Associates is currently looking for an Agent’s Assistant to join our busy office.

The position will be working both with the lead agent at their home office, with the option after the training, to work some days from home.

The position would be a minimum of 26.5 hours per week.

Applicants will need to be based in or close to Brighton or Worthing.
Ideally have experience of using Tagmin (but training will be given), and computer literate.

Day to day duties will include answering phones and responding to queries. Booking actors in for auditions, processing self tapes and looking after the diary for the agent.

This would suit a graduate that wants to potentially work as an agent, or someone returning to work after having children. Good time keeping and literacy are essential. As is a Sunny Disposition!

Rates negotiable depending on experience.

Role:

· The successful applicant will work alongside our current finance manager as a team overseeing all aspect of the finances of various divisions within our group of companies under the InterTalent Group umbrella. Companies listed below.

· This is a client-facing opportunity for a hard working, ambitious, diligent, fun, and confident finance manager.

· Skillset must combine knowledge and experience of day-to-day bookkeeping WITH the experience of all you would expect of overseeing monies invoiced, received, and accounted to the talent InterTalent represents.

Location: Fitzrovia / Soho. Office based 4 days per week. In exceptional circumstances we would consider 3 days a week in the office.

Start Date: ASAP Reporting to: Alex Segal (Managing Director InterTalent) / Alistair Goldsmith (Co-President Chosen Music)

EXPERIENCE:

· To work alongside and our existing Finance Manager, mutually supporting each other.

· Demonstrable experience of minimum five years.
· AAT qualified or equivalent.
· Fully conversant with Xero.
· Preferred Tagmin experience but not necessary as training will be provided.
· Have strong knowledge of VAT and LTD companies.
· Able to work in a pressured environment and meet strict deadlines.

DUTIES:
· Prepare and execute weekly client pay runs through Tagmin Software.
· Client/Commission invoicing and weekly VAT invoicing.
· Manage invoice chasing from company debtors.
· Liaise with Agents and staff members regarding all client/finance queries.
· Liaise with clients, client accountants regarding client earnings, VAT and payment queries.
· Liaise with broadcasters, production companies, producers and commercial partners regarding all supplier/payroll set ups and finance queries.
· Process day to day bookkeeping via Xero.
· Manage bank accounts and execute all payments for the company.
· Liaise with suppliers managing all office purchase invoices including staff expenses.
· Preparation of Quarterly VAT returns.
· Preparation of Quarterly Management Accounts.
· Preparation of Staff monthly payroll including bonus and pension calculations reporting to Pension Regulator *. This may be contracted out.
· Produce monthly analysis of staff credit cards.
· Intercompany recharging.
· Reporting to External Accountants / Managing Directors.
· Other ad hoc financial and admin duties as required to ensure smooth running of Finance Department.
· Quarterly Royalties reconciliation/payment with record and music publishing companies
· Maintain company’s client bank account
· Reconciling intercompany balances regularly

Agent Maternity Cover

Mostyn & Cross are a boutique actors’ management agency specialising in film, television, commercials and theatre.

We’re seeking an established Agent or experienced Senior Assistant looking to take the next step, to join the team as maternity cover for our lead agent, covering all departments.

We are able to offer a remote, flexible working (4-5 days) position for a period from 6 months – 1 year – dependant on the needs of the candidate.

The successful candidate should have at least three years experience working in an agency and be looking to take ownership of our client list, whilst managing our junior assistant.

We are a small, friendly team with a strong focus on client well-being and personal-tailored management, therefor the right candidate will be understanding and nurturing, as well as strong in negotiations and proactive, adaptable and organised.

Proficiency in Spotlight, Tagmin, Equity contracts and commercial rates are highly desirable, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with clients, casting teams and production teams on a daily basis.

Agent’s Assistant

Independent Talent Group is actively recruiting an Agent’s assistant position in our Talent Department. This role will be supporting an Agent and Associate with their dynamic and diverse list of acting clients working across TV, Film and Theatre globally. We are looking for a confident communicator who is genuinely passionate about our industry with strong administrative skills. Prior office experience is essential, not necessarily within the creative industry.

Day to day tasks include:

Communicating with colleagues/clients/industry professionals via phone and email
Managing agent and clients’ diaries
Attending and contributing to internal staff meetings
Editing client showreels using iMovie
General administration to support the office
Creating and maintaining client information on the ITG website
Reading scripts and writing casting breakdowns
Working confidently in a busy office environment

This is full time role based in our central London office with opportunities to attend theatre/screenings/industry events in the evenings. The role is not suitable for those currently working as actors/with an active Spotlight profile.

Agent’s Assistant

Rossmore Management is looking for an assistant for a full time office based position in Charing Cross.

Candidates must be experienced in office work, and ideally have a background in the industry. They should have excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to multi-task.

We need someone who is Mac proficient as well as being familiar with Microsoft software. Part of their responsibility will be for the management of social media and website editing so a knowledge of these platforms is essential.

The role requires someone who is conscientious, self-motivated and adaptable with a positive outlook and who can perform at speed and sometimes under pressure. It is a close knit working environment so we are looking to find a team player with energy, commitment and a genuine love of the industry.

Assistant to Senior Agent – Actors Department

United Agents LLP (UA) is one of London’s leading talent agencies encompassing the worlds of film, TV, books, theatre and comedy.

We are looking for an experienced full time Assistant to support a Senior Agent within the Actors Department. This is a very busy and successful office, working across different time zones so strong organisational skills and great attention to detail are a must. To be considered for this role we would expect that you will already have worked for a senior agent representing high profile clients for a minimum of three years.

Having a natural and friendly, yet professional communication style is important, as well as having a proactive attitude in order to juggle the demands of a fast-paced office working closely with high-profile talent.

Responsibilities:

-Handling a high volume of emails and calls, both from clients and buyers  
-Script and book reading on behalf of, alongside Agent/Clients

-Ensuring client CV’s are up to date

Senior Agent’s Assistant

We are looking for a Senior Assistant to join our team

McLean-Williams has been representing the brightest and best talents in the industry for over 20 years and we are looking for someone who can help continue our success into the future.

We are currently based in West Dulwich, roughly a 10-15 minute walk from three different railway stations. We would like to hear from those who have at least a year working in an office managing/admin role. Previous work in a creative industry is a plus but not a necessity.

You would be working as an equal member of the office team, this is an office based contract.

It frequently gets very hectic in the office so we would need someone who is great at adapting to multiple roles, keeping organised, having a keen eye for details and keeping multiple plates spinning at once.

We are looking for people with excellent communication skills both written and spoken, able to promote our clients as clearly and effectively as possible. You will be expected to be comfortable responding to emails and phone calls from the off.

As the world gradually starts opening up again, you will also be acting as the agency’s representation at a variety of in-person events and helping us build working relationships within the industry.

On the technical side, we use Macs in the office so we frequently use Apple-exclusive software like Pages and iMovie. One of the duties for the position will be managing the website which requires a working knowledge of WordPress and Photoshop Elements. A good knowledge of effective social marketing techniques would also be a bonus.

Most importantly, we are after people who have a genuine love for the entertainment business and have the drive to deliver excellent service to our clients and other industry professionals we work with.

Salary commensurate with experience.
