The role: We are seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant to join our team and provide comprehensive administrative support to the director of the department and her assistant. • Managing multiple email inboxes and correspondence efficiently

• Updating agency software and internal databases

• Generating invoices and managing payments

• Liaising with accounts team and maintaining confidentiality

• Website updates and handling client fan mail

• Assisting with ad-hoc tasks for the Onscreen department and agents

• Managing contracts, sending, saving, and tracking accordingly

• Any other day-to-day tasks as required that contribute to the smooth running of a busy agency office.

Agent’s Assistant

Waring McKenna is seeking a full time Assistant to one of our senior Actors’ Agents.

This role is full time, based at our offices in Neal’s Yard, Covent Garden.

The ideal candidate will have:
• experience working in a busy office environment and ideally, previous experience in talent management.
• genuine enthusiasm for the industry, across television, film and theatre.
• excellent communication, administrative skills and a good team member
• experience of Tagmin and Spotlight

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Client care – maintaining good relationships with clients, production companies and key industry contacts. • Basic processing with contracts and invoicing.
• Office administration – answering telephone calls to the Agent’s office, responding to routine enquiries, logging on Tagmin and maintaining admin systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.

Agent’s Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated, organized and personable individual to join our team as a Talent Agent’s Assistant. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with both established and development clients, and to significantly contribute to the long term success of our team and clients.

Key Responsibilities include:
Assisting talent agents with daily administrative tasks, including answering phones, managing calendars, and scheduling appointments.
Liaising with casting directors, producers, and clients to coordinate auditions, meetings, and bookings.

AGENT ASSISTANT

Film, TV & Theatre Intern

With a long-established history in author representation, over 90 books currently under option to TV and Film production companies, and a sizeable roster of emerging and established writer clients in all mediums, David Higham Associates is a leading agency in the Literary, TV, Film and Stage industries.

This is a great opportunity to join the TV, Film and Stage department as a departmental intern. The position is full-time and for 6 months.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, focused individual with good initiative, communication, organisational and administrative skills, who is passionate about the world of Film, TV and Theatre, and is keen to learn more about working in a literary agency.

Working hours are 9.15am – 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, with a minimum of four days based in our offices in Soho, London. Salary will be £26,000 per annum and we do not cover travel or accommodation costs.

Tasks will include:

Circulating agreements for signature, tracking signatures and logging progress.

Tracking and chasing invoice payments; liaising with the accounts department.

TV, Film and Stage Agent’s Assistant

With a long-established history in author representation, over 90 books currently under option and a sizeable roster of emerging and established writer clients in all mediums, David Higham Associates is a leading agency in the Literary, TV, Film and Stage industries.

This is a great opportunity to join the TV, Film and Stage department as assistant to two film and TV agents. This will be a very busy role which offers the successful candidate a brilliant opportunity to develop skills in all aspects of agenting including administrative and contractual skills, client management, book/script-reading and pitching writers and authors to production companies. Diary management

Providing administrative support to your line managers in all areas

Tracking signature of agreements and addendums, ensuring return of fully executed copies

Raising invoices for producers and chasing payments

Liaising with Accounts department and clients on payments

Entering contracts on a database and keeping hard copy files in clear order

Assisting with red-lining of contracts

Writers

Keeping on top of screenwriter opportunities (e.g. soaps, new media, writing schemes etc) and liaising with the team and clients on these

Acting as primary contact for enquiries relating to some clients

Dealing with some writer agreements in consultation with your line manager (once training given)

Keeping clients’ CVs on the website up to date and posting relevant social media messaging

Reading scripts and making notes

Authors

Handling enquiries about film/TV/stage rights to books and checking status of rights

Liaising with producers about opportunities for book options and reporting back to the team

Acting as the primary point of contact for enquiries relating to certain clients including Estates managed by your line manager

Liaising with your line manager on submission lists and submission strategy. Preparing marketing materials for the same

Dealing with TV, radio permissions and professional stage agreements alongside line manager

Reading books and making notes

Demonstrable experience

Support role experience, ideally in a related industry

Ability to juggle multiple projects, independently prioritise workload and delegate where appropriate to departmental intern

Good organiser with excellent record-keeping skills

Confidence working and communicating directly with clients and outside partners

Who: We have an exciting opportunity within the Actors department for a full time Assistant to one of our Actor’s Agents. You will be responsible for liaising with clients, casting directors, producers, and the media. The is a very busy office requiring meticulous organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
