Junior Assistant

London based Entertainment Company TROIKA represents over 300 clients ranging from UK national treasures to global screen stars and breakthrough Hollywood talent. Founded in 2005, the division consists of a team of experts with a wealth of experience in entertainment, drama and comedy.

The role of the Junior Assistant will be to assist one of the Actor’s Agents with administrative and client-related tasks on a daily basis. A candidate should be fast paced and be able to adapt to an ever changing environment. A natural troubleshooter, always thinking of creative and innovative ways of working to deliver the highest level support and assist the Agent in achieving their goals.

Key Responsibilities…

• Handling calls, fielding incoming calls and taking detailed messages
• Sending appointments and scripts to clients as and when required
• Handling availability checks and taking a note of them
• Tracking projects via Asana
• Acquiring a solid knowledge of the client base
• Handling charity/fan mail request and responding to basic invites
• Managaging the Agent’s diary
• Organising gifts to send to clients
• Arranging travel and accommodation (UK and International) and logistics
• Updating client CVs
• Editing showreels and self-tapes

• Strong interpersonal skills, able to work with people at all levels in the organization

Full Time Senior Assistant

JPA Management has been running for over 20 years offering personal management to a select list of clients in Film, TV, Theatre, Musical Theatre, Commercials, Radio etc.

We are looking for a full time senior assistant to join our Management team. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established agency, the ideal candidate should have the following skills/experience:

• Previous experience in a Talent Agency or Casting Office is a must
• Excellent communication skills, computer literate with a strong telephone manner. Knowledge of Spotlight and proficient in digital/social media.
• An in-depth knowledge of the Entertainment Industry, ideally with established relationships with Casting Directors, Directors & producers. Experience in contracts and negotiations.
• Pro-active, hardworking and passionate about working in an Agency
• Friendly, polite, able to multi-task with excellent organisation skills and the ability to remain calm and good humoured under pressure.
• Happy to attend showcases and productions outside of office hours

Film & Television Floating Assistant

We’re currently recruiting a floating assistant to work across all offices in our Film & Television Department, providing additional support and holiday cover when necessary, dealing with a wide range of clients (writers, directors, producers, technicians) producers and production companies. The position requires someone who can multi-task in all areas of talent management, is hugely adaptable, has great attention to detail and would suit an individual keen to take the next step in their career, working closely with a number of highly successful offices before becoming a permanent member of a team.

We’re looking for a candidate with exceptional organisation, written and verbal skills who has a good knowledge of film, television and books. A can-do attitude is important as is proficiency in the use of MS Office. The successful candidate will have at least one year’s experience either having worked in either an agency or production and be happy to turn their hand to anything.

Junior Assistant

The Artists Partnership is looking for a Junior/Second assistant for an Agent with a substantial client list in their busy talent department.

The role would be perfect for someone who has worked in an agency before and is looking to work in a high-volume agency amongst a highly collaborative and hard working team.

The ideal applicant will have at least one-year’s experience in a talent agency and a genuine interest in Film/TV/Theatre. Previous experience in managing diaries, databases and a passion for working with actors is a must.

Full-Time Assistant

This demanding role will suit a dynamic decision maker who is articulate, quick-thinking and able to work calmly under pressure.

Artist Payments and Client Accounts Co-ordinator

Department: CAM In-house Accounts

Reporting to: CAM Managing directors and EAM London (Accountants)

CAM are recruiting for their in-house accounts department to provide administrative and accounting assistance to EAM, who oversee the company’s accounts.

Main duties will include the daily processing of client payments, assessing incoming payments, inputting payments into the accounting system (Tagmin) for daily payment runs and reconciling the Client Bank accounts.

Other duties involve:
Dealing with clients’ and Accountants’ queries via phone and email

Handling requests for copies of paperwork and enquiries about outstanding payments

Chasing production companies for paperwork on unallocated incoming payments

Raising VAT only invoices

Overseeing the smooth running of the accounts department in a clear, professional manner with a keen attention to detail and the highest level of confidentiality

Experience and skills required:

Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in an agency, or in a similar role

High level of organisation, with immaculate attention to detail

Knowledge and experience of spreadsheets including Excel

Ideally proficient in Tagmin software

Good team player working in a busy office, but also able to run the department independently

Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

Great communication skills and telephone manner

Office Assistant – Talent Department

We’re looking for an Office Assistant to join a small team of two Agents and two Agent Assistants in our Talent Department. This is a 12 month, fixed-term contract.

We’re looking for excellent administrative and organisational skills including experience of using Microsoft packages. You should be comfortable using various Social Media. This role covers general admin duties and diary management for the Agents. You must have at least a year’s previous office experience, preferably gained in an arts environment.

You will be joining a lively and busy team who look after high profile clients – you should have the ability to work on your own initiative without close supervision. You also need to be able to remain calm and focused when under pressure.​ This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, confident and proactive individual to learn about the world of agenting.

Bookeeping Assistant

PBJ Management are looking for a full-time Bookkeeping Assistant.

Overview
• Day to day running of the client accounts and assisting with company management accounts paying urgent invoices
• Client’s Accounts – allocate client funds upon receipt daily. Managing the client payment process including foreign currency payments, setting up payments, and sending out client statements weekly
• Credit Control – aged creditors reconciliation and credit control
• Collaborating on the client recharge process, ensuring that expenses are recharged to the correct client
• Respond to ad hoc queries on client income

Additionally
• Updating customer/client ledger with new clients
• Manage client and company sales ledger including raising all invoices and credit notes, liaising with clients agents
• Ensure VAT is correct on international bookings and commission percentage checked
• Maintaining client bank accounts and clients account reconciliation run weekly
Candidate
• Experience with Sage 50 Accounts software
• Experience of working within a finance role, preferably in Media
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Effective time management and prioritising
• Good team player, diligent and accurate
