Agent’s Assistant / Junior Agent (Film & Television)
We need an experienced assistant, or Production professional, to join our small team representing high-end film and television technicians based in Thame, Oxfordshire.
Applicants should be educated to degree level, and should have proven experience in client handling within the media /entertainment industry, or relevant experience in film/television production.
This is a demanding front-line, phone-based role, with the potential to progress to junior agent status, so we need an excellent communicator who’s fearless, ultra-organized, and a genuine film & TV enthusiast.
Salary package negotiable according to experience.
**Please note that we can only consider applicants who are based within a viable commuting distant of Thame. Commuting by public transport is not practical, so applicants must have their own transport.**

Agents’ Assistant, Entry Level (Film & Television)
We need an entry level assistant to join our small team representing high-end film and television technicians, based in Thame, Oxfordshire.
Applicants should be educated to degree level, and preferably should have some experience in office admin and/or have worked in customer service.
This is a demanding front-line, phone-based role, so we need an excellent communicator who’s confident, conscientious, flexible, and a genuine film & TV enthusiast.
Starting salary £22,000pa rising to £25,000pa on completion of successful probationary period.

Agent’s Assistant

The ideal candidate will have:

at least 1 year’s previous experience of working at a talent agency, casting directors office, publishing house or production company.

Full-Time Agent’s Assistant – June 2019

We are actively looking for an agent’s assistant to join the team.

You should have a minimum 12-24 months’ experience working in an agent’s office. Specifically you should be able to work well as part of a team and be confident using your own initiative in a pressured environment. We are a busy office and it is imperative that you are able to remain focussed with an impeccable eye for detail.

You will share responsibility for the day-to-day running of the office, support the other agents and liaise with clients, directors, producers and casting directors. You will be expected to develop a thorough knowledge of the clients’ work and should already have a keen interest in the industry.

Experience using Macs and Tagmin is a bonus, as is a wicked sense of humour. This position has huge scope for growth for the right person, so please pay particular attention to the experience required. Interviews will begin in the next few weeks for an immediate start.

Intern

We’re currently looking for an intern to join us here at United Agents on a paid 6 month contract. The successful candidate will primarily assist Reception and be on hand for general office admin, however as their confidence and ability grows there is potential to take on more responsibility.

This position has been created to allow candidates with no experience in talent management the opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience in order to forge their on-going careers. Consequently we’re actively seeking, bright, capable candidates in need of a stepping stone, with no experience or internships under their belts.

The successful candidate will have a passion for film, television, theatre or books, be IT savvy, able to follow instruction, have an eye for detail, a can-do attitude and willing to try their hand at anything.

Agent’s Assistant

Part-time agent’s assistant required within the offices of boutique TV/film agents Nick Turner Management representing a range of award-winning TV & film writers, producers and directors. The candidate should ideally have a minimum of a year’s relevant experience, ideally in a screenwriters or literary agency. Proficient use of Microsoft Office and an attention to detail is a must. As is an interest in film and TV. The role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience as part of a small team, with training to be provided. The chosen candidate will assist agent/the MD Nick Turner for 2 days a week.

Duties include:
• Executive PA duties: managing the agent’s diary, booking meetings and lunch appointments, and general support to the agent/MD.
• Dealing with general enquiries e.g. rights queries, questions from producers looking for writers or directors, finding out from producers whether they’re looking for writers on a particular show etc.
• Updating the agencies’ websites with the agents’ clients’ news on the home page, client page, and the individual client CVs, as well as maintaining the agencies’ Twitter pages.
• Assisting with development of client work/projects and submitting client work to producers, chasing responses and updating submission trackers.
• Dealing with client contracts administratively; issuing, sending out for signature, tracking, and logging on the agency systems when fully executed.
• General office administration; filing, maintenance of office supplies and equipment, answering phone calls.
• Reading script submissions from potential writer clients and writing readers reports. Watching showreels from potential director clients.

Skills:
• Ideally a minimum of one year’s experience in a screenwriters or literary agency
• Thorough knowledge of all Microsoft Office Packages; Word, Excel and Outlook
• Familiarity with web content management systems and social media platforms
• Strong attention to detail essential.
• The ability to multitask and good organisational skills are essential
• Dynamic positive approach essential
• Must be able to work well under pressure and to deadlines
• Good time keeping
• Good communication skills and confident telephone manner
• Some script-reading experience or a script-writing qualification is ideal
• Based in Covent Garden office

Agents Assistant – Commercials Department

Agents Assistant

ITG Commercials Department are looking for an Agents Assistant to support their department, starting ASAP.

A keen interest in the advertising and entertainment industries are essential; as well as reliability, efficiency, people skills and a confident phone manner.

Day-to-day tasks will including invoicing, client scheduling, spotlight castings and general assistant duties on what the team of two might need.

Intern for leading talent agency – Daisy & Dukes

Founded in 2011, we are a small boutique agency based in Hertfordshire with clients predominately working in TV, Film, Theatre and Commercials.

Requirements:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly-organised individual who is looking to gain further experience within the industry to fill our 12 month internship. The ideal candidate will be motivated and have a passion for the entertainment industry, they must be adaptable and able to work well under pressure. They must also have an understanding of young actors as well as our growing younger adult list. We have a friendly Sharpei so they must like dogs! A Drivers Licence will also be needed.

The intern will need to have fantastic computer skills and be proficient using Apple Macs and Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word. Administration experience is preferable, as the intern will need to have great attention to detail so that client’s records, CV’s, headshots are all up to date using our bespoke system (training will be given).

This role requires someone who has fire in their belly and an enormous amount of energy as the job doesn’t always finish at 6.00pm, and there will be times you may have to stay late to meet a deadline, see clients or attend venues, workshops, drama schools and showcases.
Term: Minimum 12 months
Hours: 9.30am – 6pm

Role responsibilities:
• Recruitment and current client administration including IMDb pages.
• Responding to enquiries in a timely manner.
• Website and social media updates – knowledge of managing WordPress websites and social media sites would be highly desirable.
• Carry out availability checks for clients.
• Inform clients of casting details.
• Uploading/editing self-tapes.
• Making/taking calls to clients, productions and casting directors – an excellent telephone manner is necessary; assertive, polite, bubbly and friendly, and ability to take down telephone notes quickly and accurately.
• Arranging and managing headshot sessions and workshops for current clients.
• Processing child licence applications.
• General office and ad-hoc duties.

Agents Assistant – Maternity Cover

Independent Talent Group require an assistant to cover a period of maternity leave in our Actors Team based in our Fitzrovia Office.

The ideal candidate will possess a keen interest in the entertainment industry and enjoy socialising and meeting people.

Responsibilities include script reading, dealing with clients, producers and casting directors on a daily basis. Updating client CV’s on the company website, carrying out availability checks and carrying out the day to day administration to keep the office running smoothly.

You should be highly organised with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines, computer literate and an excellent communicator (written, over the phone and in-person).

Previous agency experience would be an advantage, although not essential.

The role will be for a minimum of 9 months, but there may be a possibility of it leading to a full time position.
