Agent’s Assistant

We are looking for a highly-efficient, self-motivated assistant to provide general office and administrative support.

Duties include:

• Client liaison
• Tracking and logging of deal memos and contracts
• Processing client statements
• Updating and maintaining database and website
• Uploading self-tapes
• General office admin

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and administrative skills, be MAC-friendly and be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of Spotlight, TAGMIN and Cast It.

We are looking for someone who is resourceful and organised with a keen eye for detail and who has a passion for theatre, films and television.

Senior Assistant/Commercials Agent

This position needs at least two years’ experience working for a reputable agent and/or casting department. Salary; to be discussed with the right applicant. Probationary period of 3 months, thereafter an opportunity to create your own list.

Knowledge of all aspects of Screen/Theatre & Musical Theatre is essential.

The successful applicant must be motivated, confident, with excellent communication, computer skills, available for evening showcases, short notice theatre trips to see clients that may include overnight stays. Tagmin experience also necessary and an easy route to Wimbledon Village.

Assistant – Theatre Department

A Personal Assistant to Theatre Agent, Kirsten Foster and assisting generally in in the Theatre department, you will be providing administrative support to Kirsten and the rest of the team.

Main duties:
– Answering phone calls, arranging travel, forwarding post,
– Liaising with clients, setting up client meetings and calls and sending client samples.
– Updating the Agency’s website’s client page, and the individual client biographies, as well as providing content for the agency’s twitter page.
– Dealing with the administration of client contracts: issuing, sending out for signature, tracking, logging, scanning and archiving contracts when fully executed.
– Keeping all Agency accounting systems up to date; includes creating and maintaining client deal slips to track deals and chasing all client payments on the Agency system.
– Collating and communicating relevant industry and client news, e.g. up and coming production news and reviews of client shows.
– Keeping record of clients’ professional commitments.
– Reading scripts for the department and seeing shows and reporting back on them in the fortnightly creative strategy meeting

Requirements
– Knowledge of and interest in the Theatre industry.
– Computer literate, with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

Experience & Skills
– A minimum two years’ experience in the Theatre industry
– Exceptional attention to detail
– The ability to multitask and work closely with your agent and across a busy team
– The ability to work under pressure and to prioritise tasks effectively
– Dynamic positive approach and adaptability
– Excellent communication skills and confident telephone manner
– A passion for theatre and new writing in particular is an asset.

Junior Agency Assistant

Vivienne Clore are currently seeking a new Agency Assistant to join their team.

We are looking for someone with at least one years experience working within the entertainment industry.

A confident and committed team member with excellent communication and administrative skills; you will need to be able to prioritise your work load and adapt where necessary.

Working alongside all agents and assisting in the general day to day running of the office, you must also be able to work independently, be self-motivated and a good and amiable team member Attention to detail, excellent communication and meticulous organisation skills are required, as well as the ability to work under pressure.

Temps

We’re currently looking for experienced Temps to work across the company, in particular our Actors Department.

The successful candidates will have:
• Experience of working in a talent agency (particularly working in an Actors department), casting or production
• An excellent working knowledge of film, television and theatre
• A knowledge of existing Casting Directors
• Understand the nuances of working directly with Talent. Consequently, we’re actively looking at candidates who have experience of client facing work.
• Be computer literate and technically minded, together with a good knowledge of standard software packages

Intern (Actors Department)

Curtis Brown is a leading international literary and talent agency, with a global reputation for excellence due to its extraordinary roster of clients within its actors, presenters and theatre, film and television, literary and below the line departments. They represent well-known names in the entertainment industry including actors, authors, directors, presenters and comedians amongst other talent.

The Talent Department at Curtis Brown is best known for developing and nurturing some of the most prominent actors in the industry. Their clients include Robert Pattinson, Dev Patel, Tom Holland, Billie Piper, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Arinze Kene and Jessica Barden.

We’re currently recruiting an intern looking to gain a valuable insight into the general running of a successful talent agency. You will be working in the office of two Talent Agents. You’ll gain hands-on experience of agency work. Our ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in an office, a confident telephone manner, excellent communication skills and be able to multi task under pressure. You should also have excellent administrative skills and a genuine interest in the industry.

We’d like to find someone who is available to start working with us immediately after the closing date and this internship lasts for 3 months.

You will earn pro-rata of £18,000 p.a. payable in arrears on the last working day of each month. Working hours are 9.30am to 6pm (with an hour for lunch).

You must also be either a British citizen or already have the legal right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we are unable to help interns with work permits, and we can’t help you with finding accommodation. You will need to make your own arrangements to live in the Greater London area during your placement.

AGENCY ASSISTANT

The BWH Agency are currently seeking a new Agency Assistant to join our team. Working alongside all agents and assisting in the general day to day running of the agency our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience working within the industry. Attention to detail, excellent communication and organisational skills plus a knowledge of Equity agreements and Agentfile are just some of the traits we require. You will need to have an excellent sense of humour, a love of theatre, tv and film; and most importantly actors. A willingness and desire to attend shows and entertain guests is vital as is an ability to work well under pressure. You must be self-motivated, and a good and amiable team member. A particular knowledge of commercials is desired as are already established industry relationships.
