Agents Assistant

Hamilton Hodell are looking for a new Agents Assistant — specifically for someone with at least 3 years talent agency experience, working alongside an actors agent. They will need to be proficient with contractual paperwork and have strong industry relationships. If interested in this position, please email Elizabeth Fergusson.

Assistant/Associate Agent (media)

Blake Friedmann Literary Agency is looking for an assistant/associate agent to work in the agency’s media department, which handles scriptwriters, directors, playwrights, and an ever-increasing volume of book-into-film TV deals.

We’re looking for someone – ideally – with experience as an agent’s assistant. The agency offers good promotional prospects and a long term future for the right person.

You will be passionate about working for writers, editorially astute, thorough at admin, meticulous with contracts, keen to master the arts of negotiation and deal structuring, a good salesman, a self-starter, and someone who fits well into an office where we work hard but enjoy ourselves a lot.

PA to MD

We are looking for a PA to the MD. The ideal candidate will have at least two year’s industry experience, providing support to legal, business or corporate affairs.

Key skills required include excellent typing and presentation skills, reliability, discretion, strong communication skills (both written and verbal), a keen attention to detail, an ability to use one’s initiative, flexibility and a sense of humour. The role is fast-paced and varied, so the successful candidate will need to be able to manage workloads efficiently, remain calm under pressure and have an interest in corporate matters.

months experience within a busy office,with a knowledge of
Tagmin, Spotlight and iMovie.
The successful candidate should be pro-active and organised
with a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Junior Agent

We are an agency of twelve staff based in the centre of the West end. We are seeking a new team member to take over the running of our voice department and another to work on our TV desk. Title dependent on experience. We seek at least three years industry knowledge, preferably in an agency. Your application will be held in strictest confidence.

Experienced Theatrical Agent

To join an established West End agency.

Applicants should have at least 5 years experience in the business, be familiar with Tagmin, be a self starter and prepared to cover all areas of the business from answering the phone, chasing recall fees and covering shows. Good sense of humour would be a plus but above all must like actors!

Agent’s assistant

We are currently recruiting an agent’s assistant to start mid-January 2019. 20 hours per week, 2-6pm, Monday to Friday based in our office on the Strand. Must be available for these hours. The ideal candidate will have experience using Tagmin, Spotlight, experience with website management and be IT literate. Would suit someone who may have interned in an agent’s office.

Admin Assistant – Voiceovers / Actors Department (Maternity Cover)

We’re currently recruiting an admin assistant (maternity cover) to work three days a week in our Voiceover department (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) and two days a week in the Actors department. The successful candidate will provide general administrative support, including processing contracts, raising and chasing payment of invoices (particularly for the Voiceover department) and provide general admin support for the department on the whole. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, exceptional organisational, mathematical, written and verbal skills and who is comfortable using MS Office. A can-do attitude is a must! Previous experience of working in an agency would be helpful but it isn’t necessary.

The position would start early February.

Senior Assistant/Junior Agent

You will have had at least one year’s experience within a talent agency or casting department. Knowledge of the industry is essential as is communication skills and a reliable attitude.
